Growing up in a middle-class family, Daniel watched his parents struggle when legal issues came up. They worked hard, they paid their bills, and yet, when it came to hiring a lawyer, the costs were intimidating, and sometimes out of reach. He realized that his parents would have to tackle all of their legal issues alone and without a lawyer. This was all due to costs.
That memory stayed with him throughout law school and into his early years as an attorney. He realized that there was something fundamentally broken in the system: good people, even those earning a steady income, were being priced out of justice.
So, Daniel decided to challenge the way law firms operate. He built a new model, one designed for accessibility, fairness, and sustainability.
